What we and Australia have in common

20th March 2017

We were recently asked a series of questions about our business; one of these was, if we were a nation, what would we be? Without hesitation I said Australia. Let’s face it, comparing an estate agent to a nation may seem a little strange, but we have more in common than you may think.

Australia is a country that is known for its easy-going atmosphere, the Australians are relaxed in the way they do business, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get the job done. We want you to enjoy your move, whether you’re selling, buying, letting or renting, life has enough stresses and strains without us adding to them. We are passionate about our business, because we love what we do and the beautiful area in which we work, and even the most challenging of sales we find rewarding.

Communication is where a lot of people fail. We believe in working with you through the sales process so you always know what is happening, but with that we also manage, keeping the chain together and taking on any issues so you don’t have to.

One of the qualities I like in Australians is their honesty; they say it as it is, so there is no confusion. They make business uncomplicated and fundamentally honest, and these are qualities that I have instilled in my team at Hunters. Nothing is perfect, and there will be times when things don’t go as planned, but by giving you an honest assessment of the situation we can quickly move on to resolving the issue without anyone being confused or misled.

The Australian way of life is alluring for us Brits; the idea of sun-drenched beaches, outdoor living and barbecues, what’s not to love? Moving to the other side of the world is not for everyone, but the Australians’ ability to embrace life and their attitude of working to live is something many countries can replicate. Our commitment and dedication to ensuring that you receive the best service from us means that moving won’t take over your life, and doesn’t mean you have to forgo your right to carry on living.

Moving home is part of life, and the estate agent you choose can determine how stressful your experience is. Although in some sense we all offer the same products, how they are delivered varies dramatically. We make it easy, providing you with a laid back service that gets results without all the hassle.

So if you would like to sample a taste of Australia in the heart of Burgess Hill, come and visit our team at Hunters. This is one experience you will enjoy and remember for many years to come.
